Just another sunny February day in California. Our beekeepers are inspecting the hives to make sure they are healthy and strong for the quickly approaching Spring season. They’re looking great!
Our 4th generation beekeeper is receiving more training about gently handling the frames and inspection the queens laying patterns. Not only does the temperament of the queen dictate the temperament of the entire hive, but it is also important for the beekeepers to handle the bees gently when opening and working within the hive.
The fruit trees are still dormant this week but get ready bees, next week they’ll begin to bloom.
