Honeybees love Blueberries too!
Well, blueberry flowers that is..
In mid February the blueberries begin to blossom and our bees are out collecting fresh pollen from inside the blossom. They will climb inside the bell shaped flower covering their bodies with pollen and collecting pollen to return to the hive. They will fly from flower to flower pollinating the blueberry plants. A successful day for everyone, the blueberries and the bees. We are grateful for the beautiful pollen they bring back to us!
